HEROES: The Power and Practice of Building Collaborative K-12 Partnerships: Part 2
In part 2 of this multi-part webinar series, we build on the foundations of K-12 community-engaged research by discussing how to meaningfully collaborate with partners throughout the research process. Through a moderated panel discussion and interactive Q&A with invited community-research partners, participants will explore strategies for co-designing research questions and implementing data collection approaches that are inclusive, ethical, and reflect community priorities and lived experiences. We will also examine the complexities of power dynamics within community-researcher partnerships and how panelists foster equity, shared decision-making, and mutual respect.
