HEROES: Exploring NSF and Education Department Data Tools for Institutional Analysis
Federal agencies collect extensive administrative and survey data that can support analysis of research and educational activity, including for institutional benchmarking. This webinar introduces publicly available federal tools and data and demonstrates how they can be used to explore institutional research portfolios and student enrollments and outcomes. Tools will include NSF by the Numbers, NSF Award Search, NCSES Academic Institution Profiles, and the Department of Education’s Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS).
