QEM NSF BIO 2-day Grantsmanship Development Workshop
This is an alert regarding an upcoming QEM NSF BIO 2-day grantsmanship development workshop, specifically designed for Biology faculty at Minority-serving institutions (MSI), community college (CC), and underrepresented minority (URM) faculty outside of R1 institutions. This workshop is a unique opportunity to enhance your proposal writing skills, gain insights into the NSF funding process, and connect with peers and mentors in the field. This proposal development workshop will cultivate a competitive broader assembly of proposals to the following programs within the Directorate for Biological Sciences (BIO): RUI, BIO-BRC, CAREER, HBCU-EIR, Mid-career and training programs, REU, RaMP, and RET. We believe your participation will greatly benefit your research endeavors.
The workshop is designed to accommodate 30 faculty. QEM will cover travel and lodging expenses for 15 participants, meals are provided for all participants during the workshop. Participants will be required to submit a one-page summary that would form the basis of a proposal to the Foundation’s BIO program. QEM consultants will use the summaries to provide feedback during the workshop’s concurrent sessions.
